Creating static website with Netlify is very easier, I will teach how to create website on Netlify with GitHub repository. Here is how you can do it.
How to create static website on Netlify?
Follow the steps below to work with Netlify and make your website live on the web.
Go to netlify.com
Go to netlify.com and click on the Sign Up button in the top right corner.
Fill in your details and don't forget to select a GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket account (if you don't have one yet).
On the next page enter your website name and click Create Site button in order to create an account for this site with its own username/email address which can be used later when signing up for more sites through the Netlify dashboard.

Enter your email and password (or a Google account) into the form fields provided by Netlify, then click on Sign up to create your site and get access to it immediately!

Now you can fill out the form. You will be asked to enter your name, email address and password. Then check the box that says "I agree to the Terms of Service". Finally click on the button labeled "Sign Up."

Now that you've set up your account, it's time to select the hosting service you want to use. We have three options: Github, GitLab and Bitbucket. If you don't have an account with any of these services yet, don't worry! You can still use Netlify as a place for your static website. Just visit the "Build" tab in the console and choose "Create Static Website".
5. In the left menu select "Site settings" under Your sites section.
The Site Settings page will open up in a new tab.
You can change your site name, domain and origin from here by clicking on the corresponding boxes in this menu.
Click on Change site name button and enter your desired site name
6. Click on the Change site name button.
Enter your desired site name in the text box and click on Update.
Click on Domain management tab, then click Add custom domain button and enter your domain name.
Once you have signed up, click on Domain management tab and then Add custom domain button. Enter your domain name in the text box provided and click Add.
